Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a wellreputed Food Manufacturing Company. Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities at their Poultry Processing Plant. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operations minimize downtime and contribute to achieving overall business objectives through effective resource management and team coordination.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to improve plant productivity and reduce production delays.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery during operation recommending adjustments to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with internal teams including skilled and unskilled staff to execute maintenance and project tasks efficiently and within schedule.
Ensure adherence to HSE standards promoting a safe working environment and protecting personnel and equipment from accidents.
Monitor and manage conditionbased maintenance plans ensuring alignment with organizational goals and minimizing maintenance costs.
Ensure the availability of manpower tools and spare parts required for executing maintenance tasks effectively.
Collaborate with production planners to schedule maintenance activities during shutdowns to avoid disruptions in production.
Supervise and guide foremen and maintenance staff to ensure tasks are executed to meet quality and performance standards.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within the Poultry Processing or Food Manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle).
Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
Strong understanding of maintenance processes condition monitoring and resource optimization.
Analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage emergency requirements for spare parts or services.
Clear understanding of HSE safety regulations and standards.
