Job Description
Black & Grey HR is seeking a talented NonMotor Underwriting Officer on behalf of our client a toptier insurance company based in Dubai. The client is looking for a detailoriented professional skilled in underwriting nonmotor insurance products like property marine liability and more (excluding health insurance).
If you are passionate about underwriting thrive in dynamic environments and possess strong analytical and communication skills this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities:
Prepare quotations policies and endorsements ensuring alignment with the client s underwriting guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with clients brokers reinsurers intermediaries and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
Assess risks and quote competitive premiums for property marine liability and miscellaneous insurance products.
Coordinate across functions like marketing claims reinsurance and accounts to drive operational efficiency.
Strictly adhere to treaty limits while evaluating and accepting risks.
Build strong client relationships by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.
Partner with surveyors to facilitate accurate survey reports for informed underwriting decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Insurance Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience in nonmotor insurance underwriting.
Deep understanding of underwriting principles treaty compliance and risk assessment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in insurance software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
