Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of an HVAC Engineer in a contracting company is to manage the design installation and maintenance of HVAC systems in construction projects ensuring these systems meet client requirements safety standards and project timelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify document and resolve HVAC and Plumbing snags to ensure systems meet project specifications and client expectations.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of HVAC and Plumbing systems identifying defects inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement solutions for system optimization including design corrections installation adjustments and performance improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the project and site teams contractors and other engineers to ensure efficient snag rectification and project handover.
- Ensure all snag works meet local and international quality standards and safety regulations with a particular focus on GCC and UAE standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of snag works including reports test results and recommendations for final project handover.
- Communicate with clients regarding snag issues solutions and project progress as required.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in HVAC engineering with specific experience in snag works for HVAC and Plumbing systems.
- Prior experience in GCC countries preferably with significant exposure to UAE projects.
- Proficient in HVAC system design installation and troubleshooting with handson knowledge of Plumbing snag management.
- Locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately upon selection.
- Communicate with clients regarding snag issues solutions and project progress as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients contractors and project teams.
