Roles and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisor Mechanical (Piping) to oversee and manage the installation and maintenance of piping systems in our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that piping projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations.
Job Responsibility
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems according to project specifications.
- Manage a team of technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Inspect work progress and quality to ensure standards are met.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule installations and repairs with minimal disruptions.
Candidate Requirements
- MOFA attested Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on piping systems.
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, methods, and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and identify solutions to keep equipment running smoothly. Troubleshooting complex problems and coordinating repairs.
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Implementing maintenance programs that prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime, such as routine inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that mechanical work meets high-quality standards, including performance, reliability, and safety. Identifying areas where processes or machinery can be improved for optimal efficiency.
- Machine Safety and Compliance: Understanding safety standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical operations and ensuring the team follows proper procedures to prevent accidents and comply with industry standards.

- Work Scheduling: Developing and maintaining maintenance schedules, ensuring that all necessary repairs or projects are completed on time without disrupting production schedules.

- Inventory Management: Managing the inventory of mechanical parts and tools, ensuring that critical items are stocked and readily available to prevent delays.
