Financial Data Entry
- Inputting and updating financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries into financial software or systems.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all data entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.

Processing Financial Transactions
- Assisting with the processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Verifying that transactions are correctly recorded and classified according to the appropriate accounting principles.

Account Reconciliation
- Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure that records match the financial transactions.
- Investigating discrepancies and ensuring that any errors are corrected promptly.

Financial Reporting and Documentation
- Preparing reports on financial performance, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports, based on the information gathered.
- Assisting senior finance staff in compiling data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Tax and Compliance Support
- Assisting in the preparation of tax filings, ensuring that taxes are accurately calculated and paid on time.
- Supporting compliance with relevant regulations, including internal auditing processes, accounting standards, and tax laws.

Utilizing Financial Software and Tools
- Working with financial software, accounting tools, and spreadsheets to manage and analyze data (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, Xero, or Microsoft Excel).
- Running queries and generating reports from financial software systems to monitor account balances, expenses, and income.

Budgeting and Forecasting Support
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts by inputting financial data and assisting in the analysis of budget performance.
- Tracking expenses and comparing them against budgeted amounts to ensure the organization stays within its financial limits.

Accounts Management
- Managing day-to-day accounts tasks, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Managing cash flows, invoicing clients, following up on overdue payments, and ensuring that vendor payments are processed promptly.

Internal Auditing and Controls
- Helping to monitor internal controls and assist in audits to ensure that financial records are accurate and that the organization complies with relevant regulations and policies.
- Assisting auditors with financial data collection and preparation during audits.

Client and Vendor Communication
- Communicating with clients, vendors, and suppliers to resolve billing issues, answer inquiries, or follow up on overdue payments.
- Providing support for the finance team in handling financial inquiries and administrative issues.
