Roles and responsibilities
Future Leader Role in Rides Maintenance Department will oversee the Maintenance, Safety, and Operational Efficiency of all rides systems of Ferrari World in relation to core process of Miral Experiences.
This Position will lead a team of skilled Team Leaders, Ride Engineers, Senior Technicians, and Technicians to ensure that all rides meet or exceed safety standards and operational guidelines.
Planning and execution of the rides and attractions preventative maintenance program. At the direction of the Rides Manager, plan, direct, control and manage assigned responsibilities of the rides and attractions maintenance.
Leadership of this position will contribute to enhance team performance and contribute to overall guest experience.
Education and Qualifications:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, Rides Engineers and Team Leaders.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide constructive feedback.
- Help develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure rides are operational and meet guest expectations.
- Implement and support initiatives that enhance overall ride reliability and performance.
- Understand, follow and enforce all standard operating procedures to exceed the operational requirements and ensure Guests always receive the highest standards of quality and service.
- Review departmental policies, procedures and performance standards to ensure these are up to date, correct and propose changes as appropriate to ensure high levels of customer service.
Knowledge, Languages and Skills
Essential:
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills.
- To be expert in at least one of the following fields:
- Electrical
- Mechanical
Desirable:
- High organization and planning skills.
- Exceptional Leadership and Team Management skills.
- Ability to apply analytical skills to data collected within maintenance department to produce maintenance strategies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

2. Technical & Mechanical Skills
- Ride Systems Knowledge: Understanding the technical systems that power and operate rides (hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, motors, gears, etc.).
- Preventative Maintenance: Performing regular inspections, ensuring rides are properly lubricated, and replacing worn-out parts before failure occurs.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Quickly identifying and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or software malfunctions that can cause ride stoppages.
- Safety Protocols: Ensuring that all maintenance is done to adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, often including inspections by government agencies or independent safety auditors.
- Ride Optimization: Understanding how to adjust and fine-tune rides for maximum performance and safety.
