Job Description

  • Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales.
  • Ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach hotels unique selling points features amenities services and policies.
  • Ensure complete coverage of own portfolio covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing of each account.
  • Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is done in timely manner.
  • Prospecting new accounts for Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach and other Sofitel Luxury Hotels worldwide and follow the sales process through to convert into producing accounts.
  • Formulate corporate offer letters and yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence
  • Communicating client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required ensuring delivery of superior guest service. Ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments and confirmation to client. 
  • To arrange and manage familiarization / Site trips in line with business needs.
  • Respond within 24 hours to any Group/banqueting requests checking space/rates in Opera and communicating to Meeting Manager for further follow up.
  • Maintain uptodate activity and rate information for each account. Rates sheets must be accurate at all times. Communicate any obstacles to completing action plans to ADOS/DOSM.
  • To support: Sales Cocoordinator in carrying out his / her roles effectively (i.e. by ensuring there are enough sales kits available for the week)

 


Qualifications :

  • A corporate sales executive reaches out to businesses to offer products and services building relationships with clients.
  • They perform market research identify trends and generate leads.
  • They also handle calls and correspondence arrange appointments and negotiate contracts.
  • They may also perform administrative support tasks such as preparing and processing documentation developing sales strategies and leading staff to meet goals while implementing company standards and regulations.
