Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Driving the strategy, creation, and execution of sales initiatives across Abu Dhabi to enhance performance
  • Manage resources and prioritise workloads within the Department to ensure the achievement of sales targets and KPIs
  • Scoping different city zones to identify brands and chains with the best fit for the delivery model, and initiate contact through referral, email, call, or walk-in
  • Building relationships with top brands and chains to prepare onboarding on Deliveroo platform
  • Acquisition of new restaurants with strong negotiation acumen and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Putting together proposals that fit the needs of the restaurants while keeping Deliveroo's profitability top of mind
  • Ensuring a smooth and complete integration process when bringing a partner on board, from the registration phase to the operational launch
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales with city performance stats and working across departments to share updates

Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in business or a related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of sales & negotiation experience preferably within a high-growth company
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Self-starter capable of driving yourself to your targets every month
  • A fantastic communicator with a "get it done" mindset, well organized and efficient
  • Data driven mindset and used to work with metrics and analyising data to make decisions
  • English proficiency - Arabic or Hindi is a plus
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.

  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales.

  • Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.

  • Proposal Development: Create and present proposals and business cases to potential clients, highlighting value propositions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align efforts and maximize opportunities.

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales metrics, assessing the effectiveness of business development strategies.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.

  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish connections and promote the company.

  • Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices to effectively close deals.

  • Market Research: Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating contracts and agreements that are beneficial for both the company and clients.

  • Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Project Management: Skills in managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely execution.

  • Networking Ability: Strong networking skills to establish connections within the industry and identify potential leads.

  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles to evaluate business opportunities and project profitability.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome them.
