Establish formal and informal communications with assigned suppliers to enable timely, accurate and forward-looking analysis of supplier's progress at meeting interim delivery schedules of supplier data, manufacturing milestones, material deliveries, testing activities and material and equipment delivery.

Typical Qualifications
University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically has little or no practical experience.
Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
Vendor Management: Ability to identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members.
Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating terms and conditions to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple procurement projects, deadlines, and documentation effectively.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in processing orders, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze procurement data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions and optimize spending.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to identify issues in the procurement process and develop practical solutions.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems) for tracking orders and managing inventory.
Team Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively within a team environment, supporting other departments as needed.
