Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Eligible Candidates:

  • Licensed Teacher

School Requirements:

  • Education Required: Bachelor
  • Minimum Teaching Experience: 4 years of teaching experience
  • Major: Education
  • Work Visa Eligibility: United Kingdom (UK), South Africa, Ireland, United Arab Emirates

Additional School Requirements:

For teaching positions at Ajyal International School- Al Falah, it is vital to ensure that you hold the correct qualifications and have the requisite experience for registration at the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). Therefore all candidates should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject plus teaching qualification.
  • Teaching Diploma in Special Education
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in teaching English & Math
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • For non-native English speakers who have completed their education in a language other than English, an IELTS 7 (English proficiency test) is required.

Job Description:

We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced teacher to join our qualified team of educators. As a teacher, you will prepare and implement a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements.   1. Adapted Teaching Methods: Modifying teaching strategies and materials to meet the unique needs of students, ensuring access to the curriculum.

Classroom Management

  1. Positive Environment: Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters respect, collaboration, and a sense of belonging.

Assessment and Evaluation

  1. Monitoring Progress: Regularly assessing student progress and adjusting instruction based on data and feedback.

Communication Skills

  1. Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to communicate with students, parents, and other professionals about progress and strategies.

Collaboration

  1. Teamwork: Working closely with other educators, support staff, and specialists to ensure a coordinated approach to student support.

Behavioral Support

  1. Behavior Management: Implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviors, promoting positive behavior through encouragement and support.

Parental Engagement

  1. Family Support: Engaging with parents and caregivers to provide resources, support, and updates on their child’s progress.

Professional Development

  1. Ongoing Learning: Commitment to professional development in special education practices, laws, and new strategies for supporting diverse learners.
