Our client is looking to hire an experienced Nursing Manager who is responsible for the efficient management of the nursing team and patient care services within the healthcare facility. This role ensures that nursing care meets the highest standards of quality safety and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing team ensuring timely and effective patient care delivery.
Monitor nursing practices policies and procedures ensuring adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper staffing levels scheduling and resource allocation to meet patient care demands.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote seamless healthcare services.
Lead and support the nursing team providing guidance mentorship and development opportunities.
Conduct performance evaluations identify training needs and implement programs to enhance staff skills.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork communication and professional growth.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety outcomes and overall satisfaction.
Prepare for and participate in accreditation surveys developing action plans to address deficiencies.
Assist in managing the nursing departments budget optimizing resource use and controlling costs.
Work with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary equipment supplies and technology for the nursing team.
Monitor departmental expenses and financial performance making adjustments as needed to meet budgetary goals.
Ensure that patient care is delivered with compassion professionalism and adherence to clinical standards.
Address patient concerns and complaints implementing service recovery measures as needed.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement emphasizing evidencebased practices and patientcentered care.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field Masters preferred.
Valid nursing license (where applicable).
5 years of experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
DOH license is Mandatory.
Maintains regulatory requirements including all mandatory entity requirements OSHMS JAWDA ISO ADHICS Standards and DOH regulations.
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with quality management and patient safety.
Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
