Black & Grey HR is hiring for a renowned University in the UAE. Our client is hiring for a Director of Advancement & Alumini Affairs who will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance alumni engagement fundraising and institutional advancement.
Develop and implement strategies for alumni engagement including events programs and networking opportunities.
Lead fundraising campaigns and donor cultivation efforts to secure gifts endowments and sponsorships in support of university initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni donors corporate partners and other stakeholders.
Oversee alumni communications including newsletters digital platforms and social media to keep alumni informed and engaged.
Manage the alumni database to ensure accurate records of alumni activities donations and event participation.
Coordinate with internal departments including admissions career services and marketing to align alumni engagement with institutional goals.
Plan and execute alumni events such as reunions regional gatherings and recognition ceremonies.
Monitor and report on advancement metrics including alumni engagement levels fundraising targets and donor retention.
Manage a team of advancement and alumni affairs professionals providing leadership training and support.
Ensure compliance with fundraising laws and university policies related to donations and gifts
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Communications Business Marketing or related field (Master s preferred).
Minimum of 710 years of experience in alumni relations advancement or fundraising ideally within a higher education institution.
Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor management.
Strong leadership communication and relationshipbuilding ss.
Experience with alumni management software and CRM systems.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives and meet institutional goals.
