We are seeking an experienced Budget Coordinator who will manage the development monitoring and reporting of the universitys budget. This role involves working closely with departments to ensure accurate financial planning analysis and compliance with university policies.
Assist in preparing and managing the universitys annual budget.
Monitor actual expenditures vs. budget identifying variances and recommending adjustments.
Provide regular financial reports including variance analysis and forecasts.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure proper budget management and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with university financial policies and assist with internal/external audits.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and costsaving opportunities.
Conduct budget training and serve as the point of contact for budgetrelated inquiries.
Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
35 years of experience in budget coordination financial analysis or accounting (experience in education preferred).
Strong financial management reporting and analytical skills.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Full Time
