You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team and oversee our purchasing activities.
Job Description:
As the Procurement Officer you will manage and streamline the purchasing process to ensure the timely and costeffective acquisition of goods and services. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and provide strategic purchasing solutions that align with our companys objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the companys requirements.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and establish strong supplier relationships.
Ensure the timely and costeffective procurement of materials and services.
Prepare and manage Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) in compliance with UAE regulations.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support.
Manage the purchasing budget and ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
Prepare and present regular purchasing reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role within the UAE.
Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in purchasing software and tools.
Knowledge of UAE purchasing laws and regulations.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
