We have a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the UAE market and a track record in identifying and creating lucrative business partnerships within the region.

What are we looking for

Experience in Business Development / Sales & Marketing in a luxury property.
Strong OPMS knowledge.
Ability to network building strong & meaningful business relationships.
Experience in the local market (UAE as well as other GCC).
Oversees the Groups planning and related staff to ensure the planning and delivery of successful hotel events.
Develop a flexible sales strategy to reflect the achievement of hotel budget commitment and which responds to local market conditions.
Ensures products and or services provided by Group Planning meet or exceed guest expectations and build customer loyalty through product and or service excellence.

What will you do

Develop & Execute effective Business Development Strategies.
Be familiar with and use the marketing software solutions.
Manages the daily operation of Event Planning to achieve or exceed budget expectations.
To develop relationships with local clients direct bookers and agency bookers to ensure a strong base of new and regular repeat business and to ensure confidence in the hotel and booking process.
Accurately identify customer needs draw up wellpresented and customised proposals in line with brand policies and standards of presentation.
Other duties related to the Business Development Manager function.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 fourbedroom villas with private pools all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. To meet the needs of longstaying guests the hotel offers 161 fully furnished spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to fourbedroom units. The hotel is located within the acclaimed Qaryat Al Beri complex on a onekilometre stretch of private beach overlooking the strait that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland. The hotel is conveniently located next to a souk offering a variety of shops under one roof. It is only a tenminute drive from the citys international airport five minutes from the golf course and the Convention Centre and 15 minutes from the Corniche and the city centre.
