Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities
- Provides leadership and supervision for all mailroom personnel, including mail center, receptionist, and switchboard as well as responsible for conference room scheduling and setup.
- Supervises day to day activities of mailroom support staff. Maintains and coordinates occupancy and space management.
- Oversees mailroom responsibilities and coordinates the activities of support roles.
- Monitors performance, absence and time keeping, ensuring timesheets are completed in a timely fashion of direct reports.
- Ensures that all agreed service levels and service standards are met.
- Coordinates processing mail and printing requests in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensures proper maintenance and repair of mailroom equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rate occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- No travel required.
Education And Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally, 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
