You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAn opportunity has arisen for Sales Executive – MICE & Business Travel to join Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
• Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts.
• Establish client base of individuals, organizations (DMC, EMC), associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside selling to secure business for the hotel to ensure that room night sales and revenue goals are met or exceeded.
• Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include all hotel departments.
• Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
• Attend industry & association networking events in order to broaden relevant commercial contacts
• Follow up with clients regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
• Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analysing sales options.
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
