Consultz is supporting a client in their search for UAE National candidate for Risk Modeling & Reporting which is part of their Risk Management function.
Identify and analyze relevant financial and economic data for model building process across different business segments.
Incorporate measures of profitability operations business growth drivers and depreciation factors into the model building process.
Conduct financial analysis and valuations using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Net Present Value (NPV) Internal Rate of Return (IRR) etc.
Review financial statements (income statement balance sheet and cash flow statement) of different businesses and support financial due diligence processes.
Incorporate financial historical data economic indicators and expert judgment into building forecasting models and update financial models using most recent market analysis new processes and data feeds.
Develop risk and financial scenarios across business segments based on relevant financial data market insights and stakeholders inputs.
Conduct scenario analysis based on microeconomic and macroeconomic factors across different business segments.
Identify key financial and nonfinancial risk indicators and provide recommendations for potential mitigation strategies.
Requirements
A bachelor s degree in accounting or finance
Masters degree CFA or diploma in financial planning a plus
57 years in financial services corporate banking or consulting
Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and a solid understanding of financial analysis terminology and techniques (DCF NPV IRR).
Advanced statistics and quantitative skills to analyze large datasets identify relationships and generate appropriate forecasting models.
Solid understanding of financial statements and key financial and return indicators i.e. financial ratios profitability measures cost/revenue margins.
Excellent excel and financial modelling skills and advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
