Position: Account Manager/BDM Event & advertising
Job Location: Dubai

MUST have min 45 years of exp in event companies
The Event Account Manager/BDM/Sales Manager will identify the available leads in the market and prepare proposals for local and international clients including conferences incentives dinners weddings activities and tours. You will act as the lead person from the initial enquiry to final billing ensuring exceptional service is always given.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Higher Management on the conceptualization planning quotations and event management of the day event logistics.
- Handle various Group & Event enquiries preparing detailed proposals as per the departmental standard and the clients requirement/brief within specified timelines.
- Onsite logistics to be the lead person overseeing the events successful delivery liaising with all suppliers to ensure that the event goes to plan and as per the running order to meet/and or exceed clients expectations
every time. - Negotiate with clients to achieve the best financial results for the business and clients.
- Coordinate with all internal & external stakeholders to ensure that they have the correct information to guarantee the success of every event.
- Collect market intelligence and trends to ensure that company always have the most uptodate products to sell.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; Higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.
- Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint.
- Proven event management experience ideally working previously in an Events Agency within the UAE.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the local market and venues and knows key contacts of clients.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a problemsolving ability.
- Presenting proposal quotations and contracts to clients in a professional manner.
Job Skills
- Has a winwin attitude and the ability to make decisions that work for the business and the client.
- Preparing and presenting client proposals using PPT.
- Solid understanding of reporting and budgeting procedures.
Solid negotiation skills. - Additional language would be advantageous.
- Detailoriented methodical and logical in their approach and thinking.
- Positive and patient with a cando attitude is approachable and supportive to their colleagues.
