POSITION: Senior Accountant
Job Location: Abu Dhabi
Candidate Must Have exp in Shipping industry as Senior accountant
JOB SUMMARY
Independently run finance & accounting function of transshipment company. The accounting scope is straightforward: one AR line and approx. 3 operations per day on AP side. Participation in new IT system development will be part of the job
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Preparing financial statements producing accounting reports and checking them for accuracy
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Experience with general ledger functions and the monthend/yearend close process
- Indepth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- General Ledgers experience is a must.
- Experience in UAE is a must
- Qualified accountant
- Experience with ERP class system is a plus
Salary: AEDdepending on experience
