Job Description

As a Security Guard in the UAE you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people premises and assets within your assigned area or facility. You will monitor surveillance equipment patrol designated areas and enforce security protocols to prevent unauthorized access incidents or disturbances.Key Responsibilities:Surveillance and Monitoring:Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats.Conduct regular patrols of the premises to check for suspicious activity unauthorized access or hazards.Report any security breaches safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate authorities or supervisors.Access Control:Control access points by verifying identification permits or passes of individuals entering the premises.Maintain a log of visitors vehicles deliveries and other relevant information as per security procedures.Ensure compliance with access control policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized entry.Emergency Response:Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms medical incidents or security breaches.Implement emergency protocols evacuate premises if necessary and provide assistance to occupants as required.Coordinate with emergency services (police fire department medical responders) as needed.Security Procedures and Protocols:Enforce security policies procedures and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.Conduct security screenings (bag checks metal detectors) as part of entry procedures if required.Perform security checks on equipment doors windows and other access points to ensure they are secure.Report Writing and Documentation:Write detailed incident reports daily activity logs and shift reports to document securityrelated activities.Maintain accurate records of security incidents observations and actions taken.Assist in investigations by providing information evidence or testimony as needed.Skills and Qualifications:Proven work experience as a Security Guard or similar role preferably in the UAE.Valid SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) license or relevant security certification is typically required.Knowledge of security operations and procedures including surveillance systems and emergency response protocols.Excellent observational and problemsolving skills to detect and respond to security threats effectively.Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Physical fitness and the ability to stand walk and patrol for extended periods.Working Conditions:Security Guards in the UAE may work in various environments such as commercial buildings residential complexes retail establishments hotels or events venues.The role may involve working shifts including nights weekends and holidays depending on the operational needs.Security Guards may work independently or as part of a team under the supervision of a Security Supervisor or Manager.Salary and Benefits:Salaries for Security Guards in the UAE vary based on experience location and employer. Generally they range from AED 3000 to AED 5000 per month.Benefits may include accommodation (for livein positions) transportation allowance health insurance and annual leave entitlement.
