Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding.
System Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of procurement systems, including software selection, customization, and integration.
- Coordinate with IT and procurement teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of new systems.
- Oversee data migration and system testing to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze current procurement processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology.
- Develop and implement best practices for procurement system use and maintenance.
- Provide training and support to users to maximize system adoption and efficiency.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, with overall experience of 10 years with a focus on procurement system implementation.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Coupa) and ERP systems.
