Minimum Qualification and Education

Academic

Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Professional/Vocational

Essential: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA Security+

Desirable: Advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security architectures.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  

Work Experience

Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience in roles directly related to IT security.
