Black & Grey HR is actively recruiting for a prominent facilities management company based in Abu Dhabi UAE. Our Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment across various construction and landscape projects by implementing and maintaining comprehensive Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential health safety and environmental hazards
Develop implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for hazard control measures.
Organize and conduct safety training programs for construction and landscape teams.
Investigate incidents accidents or near misses and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
Ensure that all personnel have access to and effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Advise on waste management and environmental sustainability practices in construction and landscape projects.
Requirements
A bachelors degree/Diploma in occupational health and safety environmental science engineering or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH OSHA or equivalent.
Proven experience in HSE roles within the construction or facilities management sectors.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct thorough investigations and compile comprehensive reports.
Proficiency in organizing and delivering training programs.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and recommend control measures.
