Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and conduct thorough physical examinations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, bone marrow biopsies, and genetic testing
  • Diagnose and treat various hematological disorders, including anemia, bleeding disorders, clotting disorders, and blood cancers
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on the type and stage of the disease
  • Administer treatments such as blood transfusions, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
  • Monitor patients' response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care
  • Counsel and educate patients about their condition, treatment options, and potential outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care
  • Participate in research and clinical trials aimed at advancing hematological care

Requirements

  • Medical degree with Western qualification
  • Valid license to practice as a Clinical Hematologist
  • Proven experience and expertise in diagnosing and treating various hematological disorders
  • In-depth knowledge of hematological principles, practices, and treatment options
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex hematological issues
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in hematology
