Job Description
- Maintain the hotel equipment, building and asset in good condition to ensure its high performance and reduce the breakdown.
- Report immediately any misuse of hotel equipment and assets to their direct Supervisor or Shift Leader.
- Use initiative and foresight to undertake tasks outlined within the preventative maintenance program without the direction of the Shift Engineer/Chief Engineer.
- Installing and connecting pipes, fixtures, and appliances, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
- Regularly inspecting and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure they function efficiently and identifying and repairing any leaks, blockages, or malfunctions.
- Responding to plumbing emergencies, such as burst pipes or sewer backups, and quickly addressing and resolving these issues to minimize guest disruptions.
- Ensuring that all plumbing work complies with local building codes and regulations to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
