ENT Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations, including medical history and physical evaluations, to assess patients' conditions and determine accurate diagnoses.
• Order and interpret medical tests, such as X-rays, blood work, and CT scans, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for various ENT disorders, including prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle changes, and performing surgical procedures.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on ENT conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as audiologists, speech therapists, and oncologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Otolaryngology through continuing education and research to improve treatments and patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients and ensure compliance with medical coding and billing regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and protocols to enhance the quality of patient care.
  

Qualifications

• A Medical Degree from an accredited institution and completion of a residency program in Otolaryngology.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients and colleagues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
