Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are seeking a skilled Electric Inspector/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering inspection and project management. As an Electric Inspector/Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems safety compliance and performance in various projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting electrical inspections evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with codes standards and regulations.
- Reviewing electrical designs drawings and specifications for accuracy feasibility and compliance with project requirements.
- Performing site visits inspections and testing of electrical systems equipment and installations.
- Identifying and resolving electrical issues discrepancies and nonconformities during construction and commissioning phases.
- Providing technical guidance recommendations and solutions to project teams and clients regarding electrical systems.
- Collaborating with architects contractors and engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
- Conducting risk assessments and safety inspections for electrical installations and equipment.
- Developing and maintaining documentation reports and records related to electrical inspections and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must be Immediately available and based in UAE.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional certification (e.g. PE) is a plus.
- 57 years of experience as an Electric Inspector/Engineer preferably in a design consultancy or engineering firm.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes standards (e.g. NEC IEC) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical ETAP) and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with building electrical systems power distribution lighting and control systems.
- Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of sustainable and energyefficient electrical practices is desirable.
