Position Overview:
As a WordPress Developer at Jays Cake you will play a pivotal role in the maintenance enhancement and optimization of our website (confidential You will collaborate with our marketing and design teams to implement new features improve functionality and ensure seamless performance across all digital platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic brand in the culinary industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop customize and maintain WordPress websites to meet business objectives and user requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate design mockups into responsive and engaging web experiences.
• Implement new features and functionalities such as online ordering customer accounts and interactive elements to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Optimize website performance for speed scalability and SEO ensuring optimal user experience and search engine visibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including bugs errors and compatibility issues to ensure uninterrupted website functionality.
• Stay informed about the latest WordPress trends tools and best practices and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve website performance and user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing of website features and functionalities to identify and address any usability or performance issues before deployment.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing IT and content creation to align website development initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders including content creators and marketing teams to empower them to leverage the website effectively.
• Maintain documentation of website development processes configurations and updates to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity in website management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 2 to 4 Years Proven experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects and customizations.
• Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and PHP with the ability to write clean efficient and welldocumented code.
• Experience with WordPress themes and plugins including customization installation and configuration.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices with experience in building mobilefriendly websites.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools with experience in optimizing websites for search engine visibility.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Selfmotivated and proactive with a passion for learning and staying updated on the latest web development trends and technologies.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and payment gateways is a plus.
• We want someone who is well versed in API Integration.
