Construction Superintendent

My client is a New York City based developer with an in-house construction management and real estate brokerage team operating across the 5 boroughs. They provide expertise in large out of the ground residential buildings, including affordable housing. They are also known for developing commercial spaces for culturally impactful, local brands. Offering those brands retail and office space to expand and/or start-up in the NYC market!

Your New Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the day to day operations in the field including: safety, quality, productivity, equipment management and subcontractor management.
• Oversee the planning and scheduling of activities as well as estimating the cost of activities against project budgets
• Computer/smart phone literacy, Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Procore(preferred), etc.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• You will need to have 6+ years experience in ground up (new construction)
• Project experience in either residential/commercial/mixed use or healthcare is required.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations - OSHA 30, 62 hr SST
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Be comfortable covering the site if the senior superintendent is away
