Job Description:

As the Editor you will be responsible for overseeing all editorial aspects of our monthly digital and print publication. You will play a crucial role in shaping the magazines content strategy ensuring it aligns with our mission to inspire and empower our readers to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a passionate team of writers editors and contributors while making a meaningful impact in the health and lifestyle space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for Magazine keeping abreast of industry trends and audience preferences.
   
2. Editorial Oversight: Lead the editorial team in creating compelling engaging and informative content across all sections of the magazine including health wellbeing fitness nutrition and lifestyle.
   
3. Quality Control: Ensure all content meets high editorial standards in terms of accuracy clarity and adherence to brand guidelines.
   
4. Team Leadership: Provide guidance feedback and support to writers editors and contributors to foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
   
5. Feature Planning: Coordinate with the editorial team to plan and execute feature articles interviews and special reports that resonate with our target audience.
   
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the design marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of content across various platforms and to maximize reader engagement and monetization opportunities.
   
7. Community Engagement: Act as a brand ambassador for the Magazine engaging with readers industry experts and influencers to cultivate a loyal and interactive community.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Journalism Communications English or related field (Masters degree preferred).
  
• Proven experience in editorial leadership roles preferably within the health wellness or lifestyle media industry.
  
• Strong writing editing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  
• Creative thinker with a passion for health wellbeing fitness and lifestyle topics.
  
• Proficiency in digital publishing platforms and content management systems.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
