Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed structural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details, based on engineering designs and specifications.
2. Prepare reinforcement drawings, steel detailing, and concrete structures drawings for various construction projects.
3. Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural designs into architectural drawings and coordinate technical aspects of projects.
4. Review and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards and regulations.
5. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software to produce high-quality drawings and documentation.
6. Assist in quantity take-offs, material calculations, and cost estimations for structural elements.
7. Maintain organized drawing files, revision logs, and documentation for project records and revisions.
8. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project execution.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and standards related to structural drafting and construction practices.
10. Participate in design review meetings, project discussions, and site visits as required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum [X years] of experience as a Draughtsman, with a focus on structural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software is required.
• Experience in steel detailing, reinforcement drawings, and concrete structures is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of architectural drafting principles and practices is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and construction practices is preferred
