About Our Client

We are working on an exciting opportunity with a global private investor based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to hire a director / senior principal to lead their asset allocation and portfolio construction team. What the job involves

• Development and implementation of the investor's asset allocation strategy
• Development of tools to monitor macroeconomic and market conditions that will help to identify potential investment opportunities
• Developing and maintaining investment risk IT systems
• Leading a team of 4-5 professionals
  

Who we are looking for

• A background in Asset Allocation and Strategy with a sizeable investment corporation
• Strong market monitoring capabilities, having worked across private markets
• Sound judgement and grounding in risk measurement and monitoringm with a focus on the overall portfolio strategy
• A high degree of economic literacy on private markets with an understanding of different asset classes
• A commercial nature upon viewing potential business plans and opportunities
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, for example economics, finance, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or physics
