Wood is seeking Expressions of Interest from remarkable people with Trade & Craft expertise to join our Operations business based in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Wood's Operations Australia / Asia Pacific (West) business delivers engineering & brownfield modifications, operations & maintenance, procurement, construction, asset management and optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector - with long-term partnerships supporting the region’s most prominent producers located in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and South-East Asia.

Responsibilities

All roles available as either permanent or contract, with flexibility to work on a full-time / part-time basis and include:

• Electrical & Instrumention Technicians
• Mechanical Technicians
• Electricians
• Coded Welders
• Pipe Fitters
• Blaster / Painters
• Advanced Riggers & Scaffolders
• Material Handlers
• Tube Fitters
• Coatings Specialists
• QA/QC Specialists
  

Qualifications

You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply.

Ideally you will have proven and relevant experience working in similar roles within the Oil & Gas industry – either in an Onshore or Offshore environment. Exposure to other industries such as Construction or Mining may also be considered.

Qualifications & Tickets

• Relevant Trade / Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space
• Offshore roles advantageous if you hold:
  • MISC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
  • TBOSIET or BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen.
