Technical Architect Buildings

Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to join our team in Dubai. The Technical Architect will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects from conception to completion. As a Technical Architect, you will collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative design solutions and oversee the technical aspects of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of architectural designs and technical drawings for building projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
3. Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility, identify constraints, and gather relevant information.
4. Prepare and review architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents, including detailed drawings, schedules, and material specifications.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams during the design development, construction, and post-construction phases.
6. Evaluate and select building materials, systems, and construction methods based on performance, cost, and sustainability criteria.
7. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to integrate architectural and engineering disciplines into cohesive project designs.
8. Ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of architectural deliverables, adhering to project schedules and budgets.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architectural design, construction, and sustainability.
10. Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, presentations, and proposal preparation as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
2. Professional licensure or certification as an Architect.
3. Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design and project management, preferably in the construction industry.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
5. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices in the UAE.
6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
8. Demonstrated ability to think creatively, solve complex problems, and deliver innovative design solutions.
9. Experience working on large-scale commercial or institutional building projects is highly desirable.
