Our company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Joinery Production Manager to oversee our joinery manufacturing operations. As the Joinery Production Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled craftsmen and ensuring the timely and efficient production of highquality joinery products like doors cabinets and loose furniture. Your expertise in joinery manufacturing processes and leadership abilities will be key to driving success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and project deadlines. Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict quality control measures throughout the production process. Ensure all joinery products meet or exceed established quality standards.
Team Management: Lead mentor and motivate a team of joinery craftsmen. Provide guidance training and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
Workflow Optimization: Continuously improve production processes and workflow efficiency. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production performance efficiency and other key metrics for management review.
Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure joinery machines and equipment are wellmaintained and in excellent working condition.
Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture. Ensure all employees follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies.
Material Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain an adequate supply of raw materials. Minimize waste and optimize material usage.
Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and designers to understand project requirements and deliver joinery products that meet client specifications.
Cost Management: Monitor production costs and implement costsaving measures without compromising product quality.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize production efficiency.
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or related field. Relevant certifications are preferred.
Proven experience as a Production Manager in the joinery or woodworking industry.
Indepth knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes materials and equipment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using production management software and tools is an advantage.
