Procurement Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Sourcing and Supplier Management, Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other procurement needs.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of quality goods.
• Negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
• Optimizing procurement processes to achieve cost savings without compromising product quality.
• Supply Chain Coordination, Working closely with the logistics and production teams to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
• Monitoring inventory levels and collaborate with stakeholders to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Quality Assurance Collaborating with the quality control team to ensure that purchased items meet quality standards.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes within the procurement function
• Market Analysis Staying informed about market trends, pricing, and potential risks that may impact procurement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance procurement strategies.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the FMCG industry, preferably in the condiments sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make strategic decisions.
