Provide accurate and timely interpretation of spoken or signed language in various settings.
Facilitate effective communication between parties who do not share a common language.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality during interpretation sessions.
Conduct research and familiarize oneself with subject matter to ensure accurate interpretation.
Assist with cultural mediation and provide explanations of cultural nuances.
Take notes and provide written translations as needed.
