The Research Intern will provide research and strategy support to the organization to increase sales, market share and client base. The Research Intern will research, compile, and analyse information on market conditions to identify potential new markets, sales opportunities, and the most effective methods to improve policies, practices, and interests that apply to strong client and employee relationship building practices.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Identifies and defines the objective of an assigned research project; determines the best methods to use to meet those objectives.
Drafts questionnaires, polls, surveys, and other data collection resources.
Coordinates with other researchers to identify the most effective survey method; methods may include interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, market research surveys, and opinion polls.
Researches and compiles data related to the current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand; analyses results to identify ways of maximising sales and market penetration of current products.
Compiles data related to competitors products such as pricing, sales, and marketing or distribution methodology.
Summarizes and analyses data; makes recommendations related to research findings.
Reports findings, complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining complex findings.
Identifies potential new products or markets through research.
Forecasts and tracks industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data.
Delivers reports and presentations of findings to management and/or executive leadership.

Competencies:
Responsiblee for managing small to medium-sized projects within the Marketing B2C customer channel.
Demonstrate ability to write well and present findings to a wide range of audiences in an engaging way.
Ability to develop an understanding and knowledge of major aspects of people management practices.
Education and Experience:
Junior or Senior earning a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Marketing, Management, or Data Science or equivalent work experience required.
Prior research work experience is required.
