Asset Management Accountant

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in asset management or a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles financial analysis and asset valuation methods.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. Excel ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Detailoriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and standards (e.g. GAAP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a comprehensive record of all company assets including acquisitions disposals and transfers.
• Conduct regular asset evaluations depreciation calculations and impairment assessments in accordance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure proper asset utilization and maintenance.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to asset performance and ROI.
• Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor assetrelated contracts leases and agreements to ensure compliance and optimize costs.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards relevant to asset management.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the asset portfolio.
• Perform adhoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.
