Job Description:

We are looking for a Business DevelopmentCommercial Officer to plan develop and implement sales strategies for a SaaS (software as a service) solution for businesses in the Travel Sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing Sales plans with the aim to accelerate growth. Prepares Sales Reports and annual Sales Plan.
  • Managing client relationships understanding their requirements ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborating with and coordinating diverse teams (e.g. development marketing CMS and account managers).
  • Monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics and reporting to senior management.
  • Establishing and maintaining longterm profitable partnerships with key travel industry organizations.
  • Assisting with the setting managing and monitoring financial targets and budget development.
  • Identify develop and secure new business opportunities by generating leads
  • Conducting demo with B2B clients and ensuring closures
  • Managing schedules filing important documents and communicating relevant information
  • Maintain client relationships and coordinate promotional activities

Skills needed for this role:

  • Must have strong Sales knowledge along with an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills are essential.
  • Must be computer literate with Technology adoption enthusiasm.
  • Must have outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities in order to successfully manage relationships with key clients
  • BSc/BA in business administration finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business development in any of the below sectors:
  • Travel Technology Solutions
  • SAAS (software as a service) solutions to businesses
  • Bed banks/ leading OTA / Hotel sales
  • Vacation rental solutions
  • Preferably having an understanding of the workflow for Destination Management Companies/ Inbound Tour operators / Vacation rentals
  • Must have good Education Attainment
  • Must have 57 years of experience in related business in the region
  • Understanding Startup culture and technology adaptation
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and regular sales management tools
