We are looking for a Technical Writer to work in Washington, DC supporting our client.
Clearance: US Citizen
Salary: $96,000
Experience Requirements:
- Working knowledge and experience with IT Service Management capabilities and best practices especially in the areas of IT Policy and Procedures, preferred experience in documenting IT Security policies and Procedures or IT Auditing Sector.
- Knowledge and experience using SharePoint. Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Leverages technology to document deliverables and track work assignments.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with technical writing assignments to include, but not limited to:
- Policies, processes, and procedures
- Support to revamp our Technical Operations Guide
- Agile Transformation Program documentation support
- Developing and proofing training and presentation documentation for operational processes and projects
- Project requirements and quality assurance documentation support, as assigned
- Documentation Management/Records management
- Support the development of a central documentation portal, assist with document management plan/processes to meet Board s record management standards/policies
- Support with branding and marketing communications for our branch
- The Technical Writer shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:
- Document enterprise policies, including the charter, processes, governance, and supporting procedures.
- Provide advisory support to determine the most appropriate method(s) of documenting to achieve ease of use by users in our environment.
- Document the Governance Risk Compliance and Policy team processes and facilitate meetings, as directed.
- Develop new version of the TS Ops Guide, so that it is easily maintained and updates can be improved methods of finding information.
- Creates and updates new and existing system processes and procedures for inclusion, as directed.
- Update new and existing documentation as required based on feedback to meet compliance requirements.
