Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and create specification document.
Responsible for tracking, managing, and reporting on the progress of requirements collection, specification creation and development.
Work with program/project managers, product owners, Business Analyst, Development team, QA team members in providing clarity of requirements and how they relate to the business objectives.
Obtain a strong functional understanding of business operational process and implement the solutions to business applications.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experiences (must have):
At least 3 years of work experience in the life insurance industry (experience in New Product development or maintenance work preferred).
Business requirement creation/System Specification creation or system development experience in life insurance sales distribution system.
Work experience in Online Web Application development project as a System Analyst or System Engineer.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly on challenging, complex and difficult issues to develop solutions.
English reading and writing skills are required.
Skill & Experiences (is a plus):
Business-level English proficiency is a plus. It is desirable to be able to respond to emails in English and have simple conversations with application development team.
Working experience in both Waterfall and Agile project development methodologies is a plus.
Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, J2EE, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Micro services, JavaScript, Spring, RESTful API, Shell Scripting and PL/SQL is a plus.
