Job Description
Black & Grey HR is hiring for a construction projects management and special engineering solutions provider in Dubai UAE. Our client is seeking a Quantity surveyor playing a crucial role in the construction and engineering industry contributing to the financial and contractual aspects of projects. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for overseeing BOQ cost control and contract administration to ensure the successful execution of projects within budgetary constraints and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Proven track record in effective PreTender and PostTender execution ensuring seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
Experience in handling water Proofing/ Weather Proofing/ Construction/ Concrete Restoration/ Concrete repairing
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
Conduct cost analysis budgeting and forecasting for projects ensuring accurate cost estimations and tracking actual costs against budgets.
Analyze project specifications and requirements to determine costs.
Perform quantity surveying duties including measurement and valuation of work done.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and contract requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to assess and manage variations.
Familiarity with blueprints and the ability to interpret accurately and read plans.
Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Administer contracts review and negotiate contract terms pricing and variations in collaboration with legal and stakeholders.
Communicate estimation findings challenges and recommendations clearly and professionally.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
3 to 6 years of relevant UAE experience in estimation and quantity surveying.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in using relevant software for estimation and quantity surveying.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
