Senior ESG Specialist

• Coordinate, collect and manage data for carbon footprint mapping for Egis ME’s Transportation Business Line.
• Develop strategies to reduce energy use, carbon footprint and implement sustainable methods for managing O&M projects.
• Create climate resilience plans and actions for roads O&M.
• Promote evidence based technical and innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions for transportation projects (mainly focusing on O&M).
• Monitor key changes in legislation and policy and identify any impacts these may have on the O&M projects.
• Proactively develop business cases, bids and proposals for ESG in the transportation business line.
• Develop an understanding of corporate ESG strategy and ensure the service area objectives are achieved.
  
  

Profile

• Approximately 5-7 years of professional experience in sustainability and decarbonisation.
• Must have broad technical knowledge related to science-based emissions pathways and carbon emissions data (including challenges and limitations). Certifications in carbon accounting and GRI reporting required.
• Demonstrable experience in corporate carbon reporting, analysis, and interpretation of datasets.
• Previous project experience in O&M and transportation associated projects.
• Use of data visualisation tools or similar experience in reporting of complex information to clients.
