Job Summary

DevOps team member supporting TGL and GAI application in Application

Main responsibility lies within execution of daily end-of-day deliveries, change-, incident- and problem management, improvements of monitoring

Responsibility & Duties

On this role, knowledge and experience about Oracle PL/SQL, Bash, Docker and ITIL are

.

2nd line of support for complex applications working closely with developers

.

experience and supporting Oracle PL/SQL applications and database concepts like triggers and constraints

.

good understanding of complex queries using aggregate and analytical functions

.

strong experience in Unix shell scripting

.

performing automation tasks by leveraging the existing CI/CD pipeline such as Git, Bamboo, Ansible and also utilizing the full benefit of Grafana, Power BI solutions to get rid of repetitive manual work in operations

.

handling and resolving incidents following Service Level Agreements (SLA)

.

continuous analysis of application and infrastructure performance problems

.

coordination of changes following standards

.

analysis of application and infrastructure performance problems

.

following and update procedures and documentation according to templates

.

focus on optimization and automation

.

monitoring systems ( job monitoring) and verification of events in IT systems based on

Essential Skills

.

8-10 year experienced in handling incidents and change management using ITIL framework

.

well organized and proactive problem solving

.

worked as Application Support/ DevOps in Windows and Linux environment

.

experience in scripting languages as Bash/ PowerShell

.

experience in working with Docker based application

.

experience in working with Oracle databases

.

basic knowledge of Apache Tomcat and Java

.

strong analytical skills, troubleshooting and debugging

.

experience in automated application deployment pipelines

.

familiar with Windows/ RedHat server systems

.

experience in setting up of monitoring rules and alerts

.

fluency in English (verbal and written)

.

great communication skills

Nice to Have Skills

.

experience with Big Data processing

.

knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)

.

knowledge of Splunk, Grafana and Automic UC4

.

knowledge of banking industry, especially Knowledge of Capital Markets would be an asset
