AutoCAD Draftsman

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Drafting Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a deep understanding of 2D and 3D modeling.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting work.
• Knowledge of construction engineering and architectural standards.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Translate conceptual sketches and design concepts into technical drawings.
• Prepare architectural structural electrical and mechanical drawings as required.
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
• Make revisions to drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Assist in the creation of material lists and quantities for project cost estimation.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation for easy reference.
• Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD software developments and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the project team in various design and drafting tasks as needed.
