Job Description

The Theory and Clinical Nursing Instructor must provide students and customers with the skills and knowledge vital to obtain entry-level employment in their Instructors should utilize their expertise to coordinate with the facility to ensure educational success under the guidance of the Director of Nursing

Job Duties

• Effectively delivers class instruction utilizing course syllabi and materials that are ;

• Delivers learning-centered instruction by establishing a classroom environment conducive to learning and student involvement while effectively planning and preparing for instruction and student ;

• Promotes student success by showing flexibility in style and work schedule as well as exhibiting a passion for teaching and engaging students in the learning ;

• Assesses student work in a timely fashion and conveys feedback to ;

• Manages the learning environment by keeping accurate records, submitting grades and other reports on time, and administering academic and attendance ;

• Relates professional/life/industry experience to learning by the continuation of professional/technical skills development, the introduction of industry perspective into courses, and the active awareness of professional/industry trends and ;

• Provide theory and/or clinical instruction according to the course syllabus

• Assign Laboratory activities that coincide with and support Activity supervises student laboratory activities always ensuring a safe and clean environment

Qualifications:
As a Registered Nurse, you must

• Hold a current California active license as a Registered ;
• Hold a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited school; or a valid teaching credential; or have completed a minimum of (1) one-year full-time teaching experience in a state accredited or approved registered nursing or vocational or practical nursing; or psychiatric technician school within the last (5) five years; or met Community College or State University teaching requirements in ;
• Have a minimum of (2) two years' experience as a Registered Nurse or licensed Vocational Nurse within the last (5) five ;

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you must

• Holds a current California active license as a Vocational Nurse
• Holds a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited school; or a valid teaching credential; or has completed a minimum of (1) one-year full-time teaching experience in a state-accredited or approved registered nursing or vocational or practical nursing; or psychiatric technician school within the last (5) five years; or met Community College or State University teaching requirements in California
• Have a minimum of (2) two years' experience as a Vocational Nurse or licensed within the last (5) five years

Physical Demands of the Position

• The ability to move within the classroom and lab facility to assist students and monitor move to various locations within the school facility (offices, ).
• The ability to operate a computer and its peripheral equipment (printers, keyboard, mouse, )
• The ability to use lab equipment and instructional aids such as projectors, TVs, VCRs, etc
