Position: HSE Manager
Candidate must be in UAE
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws,regulations, and company standards
- Monitors the effective implementation of Safety and Environment System procedures and provide fortheir updating in line with changes in legislation and company directives.
- Ensure proper communication of changes in the procedures and policies to all employees
- Analyze and inspect work environments and work procedures to ensure adherence to EHS regulations.
- Coordinate health and safety initiatives including training, audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Maintain partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of safety excellence
- Promote employee awareness of safety-related issuesIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in the HSE program
- Provides training and familiarization of all company personnel respecting the importance of complyingwith HSE system policies and procedures.
- To conduct internal safety audits and submit report to the concerned and management.
- To conduct out any in-house safety training.
- To conduct safety audits on Sub-contractor
- To conduct and review project operational activities to determine the safety, health and environmentalsignificant aspects involved
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Possess strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills
Prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English
- 10+ years of working experience in the same field.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail
Excellent, leadership. - Strong knowledge of ship repair and shipbuilding.
- Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced time management skills
- Education: Engineering degree or relevant industry qualification
- Age: 35 years or above
Salary AED 25 K-30K + benefits
