Job Description

Our client is a leading hospitality group based in Dubai are looking to hire experienced Chief Accountants for various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee financial reporting: You would be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. You would ensure that all financial reports comply with accounting standards and provide accurate and timely information to management.
  2. Manage accounting operations: You would oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the hospitality group, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting. You would ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Develop and implement financial policies: You would develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure that the hospitality group's financial operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulations. You would also monitor compliance with these policies and procedures.
  4. Provide financial analysis and advice: You would provide financial analysis and advice to senior management to help them make informed business decisions. This may involve conducting financial forecasting and analysis, identifying financial risks and opportunities, and recommending strategies to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities.
  5. Manage financial audits: You would manage the financial audit process for the hospitality group, working closely with auditors to ensure that financial statements are accurate and comply with accounting standards.
  6. Manage budgeting and forecasting: You would oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for the hospitality group, working closely with senior management to develop financial plans that align with the company's strategic goals.

What we are looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years experience in same or similar role in luxury hospitality
  • Bachelors degree in Accounts / Finance
  • Excellent level of English, written and spoken
  • Experience in Micros Symphony, Oracle, Adaco, Smart Invoice
  • Knowledge in advanced excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
  • Available to join immediately
